Descriptive writing
WALT: write a descriptive piece of writing.
Today we will focus on the use of our descriptive language
-adjectives, verbs, adverbs, similes and personification.
When writing about one of the images you are pretending that you are there… What do you see, smell, feel, touch and taste?
The palm trees waving at me with the wind rustling them around, so joyfully it makes me want to dance. The boat engines roaring loudly yet so peacefully forcing little waves to come crashing against the shore. Golden sand in between my toes, the sand so hot but underneath so cool. The mountains in the distance closing me into the beautiful bay, the trees colouring the whole mountains emerald green, with only one way out. Looking into the baby blue water I see tons of colourful fish swimming past me in rows. I can see the whole rainbow right in front of my eyes.

Report writing
This is my second report writing I wrote about Tasmanian devils
Tasmanian Devils are very interesting animals also known as Tazzy Devils, but sadly they are going extinct very quickly that's why they have a very specific habitat. They are also carnivorous so they only eat meat and mostly small animals, they don't breed very often so that is why they are going extinct.
You can find Tasmanian devils on the island of Tasmania In Australia, there is an area of around 35,042 square miles but they prefer coastal scrub lands and forests rather than the 35,042 square miles that they were given.
Tasmanian Devils are mostly carnivores but if they were given fruit they would probably eat it especially if they were starving. They mostly stick to eating small frogs, birds, fish and insects. They are most rowdy when going for a large carcass.
Tasmanian Devils can only breed up to 4 joey/pups each litter, they breed mostly from March to May and the females look for the most dominant males. Males are very rough with their female partners but in their world that is how they show their love.
They can be picky of what they eat, where they live and who their man is but it is their life and they want it to be as good as it can. It is quite interesting that they can have no more than 4 joeys at a time but I wonder if there has ever been a conjoined Tasmanian devil guess i'll have to do more research.

My Letter to Ally
For this week we have been reading a novel called Fish In A Tree. We had to write a letter to Ally from our feelings to her and we gave her advice to help her express her feelings this is what I would want to tell her if I` had the chance
Ally description from Fish in a tree
Hello Bloggers, we are reading a novel called Fish In A Tree. It doesn't give you an explanation of how she looks so we all had to make an avatar of what we think she looks like this is my opinion.

Quarantine Paragraph
Quarantine paragraph - Draft - Aimee
Lock down was a disaster in my eyes! Almost every day mum would say, ‘go for a walk’ or ‘take the dog out somewhere’ because she was always working. I also didn’t like home school because I couldn’t concentrate at home! There are so many distractions like your phone or your pets or food but at school you don’t get those things all the time. I thought it was horrible that you couldn’t see your friends as well. It was such a relief to go back to school. Let's hope there are NO MORE LOCK DOWNS!

Hide and seek
It was dark,
Me and my cousins squirming on the wet grass getting colder and colder,
Hoping that the seeker would walk right past us and we could dash to the home base,
But as soon as the phone went BEEP BEEP
My Uncle/the seeker turned on his flashlight and came looking,
Lucky for us he walked the other way and we made a fast escape to the home base but…
He caught us and shone the bright light into our eyes we couldn’t stop because we wanted win,
Not being able to see my cousins I just ran around the seeker and into the trees near the shearing shed,
I thought my cousin got caught but no!,
I heard little footsteps walking towards me as I backed away still not wanting to be caught,
I was about to run when I heard a little voice say “Aimee” it was Kyro
I asked If he had been caught but he said “No not yet but Jaxon got caught”
so we decided to make a run for the home base a second time this time we
made it and saw My Mum and Kyro’s Mum had got caught just like Jaxon
As soon as we got to the top of the paddock/the home base
we yelled “GO HOME STAY HOME 1 2 3” as loud as we could
just to let the others no we had won.
As soon as everyone else had either got caught or made
we all went inside for a hot chocolate so we could warm up!

Paper, scissors, rock
Walt: We read a book called the legend of rock paper scissors and had to do some activities around it, I loved the book and I could read it over and over again.
